Map description

The one-sided and monolingual (English) edition called “Wine map of Croatia” is another in a series of thematic educational maps produced by the Romario company. As the Government of the Republic of Croatia accepted the proposal of the new law on wine and divided Croatia into 4 wine-growing regions, the Romario company immediately applied it. The edition is dominated by a large map of the geographical areas of vine cultivation with the already mentioned regions, then sub-regions and vineyards marked. In addition to the main map, there is also a smaller map of regions and subregions for easier orientation. Along with the map, all vineyards are listed and marked on the map. Then, along with the map, all the wines (white and black/red) by subregion are listed. Along with the map, as an interesting feature, there is a text related to Martinje as well as a list of wine saints. To the left of the map there is a descriptive section for each wine region and sub-region with its characteristics and traditional grape varieties, definitions of zones, regions, sub-regions, vineyards and locations, and a list of all original Croatian grape varieties.
